Leadership Development Platform for the Next Generation
APPNA’s long-term success depends on responsible financial management, transparency, and strategic planning. As an organization managing significant annual revenues, APPNA must ensure that its resources are aligned with the priorities of its members and used to advance its mission effectively. I will advocate for clear financial reporting, responsible budgeting, strong oversight, and thoughtful investment in programs that provide lasting value. By strengthening our financial infrastructure, developing sustainable sources of revenue, and reducing unnecessary expenses, APPNA can become more independent, resilient, and prepared to pursue ambitious initiatives for future generations.

Financial Strength, Transparency, and Self-Reliance

APPNA must serve as a strong leadership-development platform for the next generation of Pakistani-American physicians and healthcare professionals. Our younger members bring exceptional talent, fresh perspectives, and a desire to make a meaningful difference, but they need greater access to mentorship, professional networks, and opportunities to lead. I will support structured mentorship programs, leadership training, committee involvement, and meaningful participation in APPNA’s programs and decision-making processes. By preparing emerging leaders to serve within APPNA, the healthcare system, and the broader community, we can build a strong and sustainable future for our organization.
Unity for Greater Impact
APPNA’s greatest strength is its diverse and accomplished membership. When we work together with mutual respect and a shared sense of purpose, our collective voice becomes more influential and our ability to serve becomes far greater. I will promote unity across chapters, alumni associations, specialties, regions, and generations while encouraging respectful dialogue and constructive conflict resolution. A united APPNA can more effectively advocate for physicians and patients, support humanitarian and community initiatives, strengthen the Pakistani-American diaspora, and become a more relevant and respected voice throughout North America.
